A HOME AWAY offers you a unique addiction recovery retreat in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia (BC), Canada. Here you will find a warm, home-like setting bringing hope, healing, renewal and spiritual growth. Our expertise is in alcohol, other drug, and gambling addiction, compulsions such as to food or sex, adult children of alcoholics (ACOA), family issues and co-dependency. As our guest, your stay is individually tailored to your needs. We accept no more than eight guests at a time. The professional, expert staff offers you an holistic program with a full complement of therapies, and individual and small group sessions. Our counselors are outstanding, and the program is comprehensive.

You deserve the best
Accepting no more than eight guests allows for you to have a lot of individual attention. We will not let you slip through the cracks here. And you will even have some fun along the way too! You will join in our weekly recreation day, rediscovering some passions such as skiing, golf or hiking, and likely feel challenged to try something new. You will fall in love with our chocolate lab, Cocoa, taking him for walks on beautiful trails, or down to the lake for a swim. You and your fellow guests will share in wonderful meals prepared by our world-class chefs, together with your hosts, John and Jane.
